The Mihindu Seth Medura, Attidiya is the home of many war veterans who were disabled in the war. When we paid a visit to the Seth Medura, on the day before the 11th anniversary of Victory against LTTE, many resident veterans said they are only disabled physically and not mentally. 'We can tolerate more,' they said. The Mihindu Seth Medura was a concept of the then Defence Secretary Gotabaya Rajapaksa. Pix by Rekha Tharangani Fonseka
