Since independence, nothing is done, except looting and stealing public funds. Major Expressway projects were undertaken, because of possiblity of stealing funds, excessive loans, etc. But nothing done to mitigate such situations or any alternatives to the public to prevent falling into such situations.

Expressways need to be done for development of the country. Also stealing of funds does not happed only in Sri Lanka but happens even in Indonesia at a higher rate but is not noted due to the countries development

People who can afford and are affected should file action claiming compensation from those who are responsible. Most highways have caused floods due to insufficient provision for drainage and maintenance.

Sad to see our people suffering like this. All due to the conduct of our corrupt politicians who only robbed us and looked the other way without addressing these issues. We all must keep praying for all the rogue politicians to face Dittadhammavedaneeya karma in this birth
