IMF doing too much sight seeing Friday, 02 June 2023 07:14 PM
The taking the IMF team on sight seeing is to dazzle them or give them overwhelming hospitality while freedoms are crushed by government back military forces and police. IMF team should be disgraced for going about on so much sight seeing instead seeing the plight of repression here.

Who is paying for IMF staff to spend their time sight seeing Friday, 02 June 2023 07:16 PM
Maybe the IMF has too much money, that is can afford to send it's senior staff on sight seeing tours. If they go back saying Sri Lankan is a paradise, and government is doing the prefect things, then people here can know for sure, IMF is bonkers.

Lanka Friday, 02 June 2023 07:43 PM
Well, if they have a little common sense they can see where the Sri Lankan "priorities" are and where the monies go. If Sri Lanka proclaims as a "paradise" it should look and feel like one.....not concrete buildings!

Don't worry dear. It is like going on a audit and the client takes out us for dinner and drinks and sight seeing. This is Ranil's PR skills and that is very good and very important. That is why he is turning around the economy.
