The Sri Lanka Muslim Civil Society organised an iftar gathering which was held on the lawns of the Colombo Town Hall. Iftar or the traditional breaking of fast during the month of Ramadhan is usually a meal that brings together families and neighbourhood. Pix by Samatha Perera

මේ අයගෙන් අහන්න හලාල් අයින් කිරීමට කැමති ද ,ෂරීයා වලින් ඉවත්වීමට කැමතිද ,බුර්කාව ඉවත් කිරීමට කැමතිද , බාල වයසින් විවාහ වීම තහනම් කිරීමට කැමති ද , වෙනම අරාබි විශ්ව විද්‍යාල පහ නම් කිරීමට කැමතිද , කවුද එකතු කිරීමට කැමතිද .? මේවාට පිළිතුරු නැතුව සෝබන වලින් වැඩක් නැත.මේවායින් ඉවත් නොවී කිසිම සාමදානයක් ඇති වේ යැයි සිතීම ද නොහැකි ය.
