Indian ‘Kirch’ arrives in SL with relief

Indian Naval Ship (INS) ‘Kirch’ arrived at the Port of Colombo yesterday to assists the ongoing disaster relief efforts for the communities affected by the extreme weather in Sri Lanka. Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ravi Karunanayake, High Commissioner of India to Sri Lanka, Taranjit Singh Sandhu, Commander Western Naval Area, Rear Admiral Niraja Attygalle, officers from the Naval Headquarters, Defence Attaché to the Indian High Commission in Sri Lanka, Captain Ashok Rao and a host of government officials were present on the occasion.(Navy Media)

India has been hoodwinking Sri Lanka for centuries. Even at a time of a crisis, India is doing that. Instead of sending a ship, they could have sent the relief items in the hand luggage of one of the cigarette packet couriers who go up and down from India to Sri Lanka.

Indiais not at all a helpful neighbour. China is very much better. Look at the trade balance Our exports to them is very much lower than imports from them and this has prevailed for the last several decades They are only interested in helping and developing North only and it is crystal clear when you analyze the assistance granted to Srilanka d uring the past three or four years!
