Phot op for Ranil in his last few months of presidency. Has a personality of a "pabaya". New blood to develop the country.

It seems like RW is navigating between two worlds. Reflecting on past events, he graciously stepped aside for figures like Gamimi Disanayake, GEN Fonseka, and Maithripala Sirisena, often taking a back seat. Throughout his impressive 40-year career, he has never betrayed the West and has consistently remained loyal to our 'big brother' India. Now, it appears India is keen on keeping RW in the game, offering their full support. Perhaps the next visit from the PM will shed more light on this. Given his history, what are the odds? It's looking likely that RW might not run in the next election. Is it the sunset of his political journey? Only time will tell.
