US Envoy to Sri Lanka Julie Chung yesterday visited the Temple of the Tooth and the old Kandyan Kings’ Palace in view of World Tourism Day. Through the Ambassador's Fund for Cultural Preservation, the US Embassy in Colombo is helping to restore sections of the old palace, with a view to give the monumental building a facelift.
