The plaque attached to the building for the opening may have contained dozens names of corrupt politicians as if they have constructed the building out of their funds. In the past such plates consisted of feW names , the name of the men who were involved in the process . Case of point is the plaque attached to the kandy market which was built in 1950s. It contained I believe two names , name of Sir Oliver Gunathilaka the Governor General and the kandy mayor.

Comic names are given to some of the new buildings and the inventors of the names must be jokers. The buildings must be identified with names that reflect the purpose.

How much did the government spend for the plaque, the curtain and the curtain rod? Stop these unnecessary expenses if anyone in this government has got a brain. Over to you Mr President.
