Lalith, before he became a Minister, was arrested and investigated in the 70s for a serious crime in Colombo, that arresting and investigating policeman was a devious Tamil DIG in Colombo. When Lalith became the Security Ministeter this Tamil DIG resigned and left Sri Lank. He feared to come back to Sri Lanka.Few years later Lalith was murdered. Knowing this Tamil DIG had contacts with the LTTE and Colombo criminal elements and his hate for Lalith, it is my belief this Tamil DIG influenced the murder. This Tamil DIG was a quiet and gentle faced but underneath a dangerous personality, he died few years ago India. His connection to Lalith’s murder must be investigated.

Which party he belongs to ? Is it SLFP ? As if it was now Ranil with all SLPP are commemorating Laith and if Laith is here he would have hatred Ranil and Ranil would be begging him now for some post ...There is huge difference between Ranil and Lalith

Terrorist theologians of LTTE were intelligent enough to sort out and kill future leaders of the country paving the way to unsuitable, selfish mismatches who foolishly dealt with timely important foreign affairs for a long period of time, which is one of the major reasons for the present situation. Lalith as a minister faced and won many challenges against the country after 83 black July riots and repercussions that continued until Wadamarachchi operations.
