Emergency PCR tests were conducted at the Dedicated Economic Centre at Welisara yesterday considering the prevailing pandemic situation at Dambulla and Thambuththegama. The vendors were seen in long queues to undergo PCR tests. Pix by Nimalsiri Edirisinghe.

Like in Japan, why not Sri Lanka declare an emergency with no lockdowns. Just to think of it in Sri Lanka it is always an emergency seeing the way people use the public roads.

OMG This is not PCR test. This is “Lateral Flow Test” or in other words “Rapid Antigen Test”
