Politicians do not have hearts. The hearts of the ones who claim to have them, have wooden ones. Sad to see these parents and relatives have to resolve to this knowing well that nothing would come ut of it. Living with hope.

A crying shame! To all presidents and parliamentarians since 1977, comes some share of the responsibility for this pathetic, brazen ‘culture of impunity’ that climaxed in the rajapakse years and their short stint in the opposition in 2019! For this reason alone, the majority of the present parliament should be sent home. From presidents and prime ministers saying they have matters of higher priority, to investigations being stifled, and granting improper presidential pardons, so-called leaders have audaciously abused their powers by acts and omissions to add to this misery. May the confidence in the rule of law be restored in the days to come!
