Mother, daughter grace ’Pahim Path Mangalyaya’
A mother (42) and daughter (16) recently held the 'Pahim Path Mangalyaya' (a stage performance a dance student performs after undertaking years of training) at the Walukaram Maha Viharaya, Katukurunda, Moratuwa for the first time in Sri Lanka's dancing history. This annual 'Kalaeli Mangalya', the Sri Lankan traditional dance graduation, was held by the Janaranjana Kalayathnaya recently at the Walukaram Maha Viharaya. The Kalayathnaya is conducted by Mrs. Janaki Ranaweera Arachchi.
