Most of the prisoners offences are far below than Duminda silva,the notorious murderer and drug king pin.So president should pardon all the prisoners and completely close the prisons.at the same time change the parliament into welikada prison as now all the notorious criminalals are in the parliment.

Bias political game in Sri Lanka today . Your political system is utter failure . President can do more harm to the judiciary of the country than may judges and lawyers. He can appoint unqualified people in all posts. Like this joke of releasing any one he wants . Shame on Sri Lankan legal system
