Brilliant move. It seem many in Sri Lanka are not familiar with the metric system of measurement. I hope all banks, pharmacies, bus stops and super markets follow this example. Now at least Sri Lankans can get used to queuing up which was not a part of our glorious culture.

@Andrew Silva they may know the distance but they are not disciplined enough to practice. By marking others can insist each one stands on the mark.

Excellent. Covid had to bring good mannerism and etiquette to our people. Previously the person behind you in a bank counter was breathing over your shoulder. Some even when you are in front of the cashier will come on the side and speak to the cashier to carry out his business ignoring you.Xcellent Xcellent Xcellent
