A bevy of ready and willing sycophants (first picture). They will be needed to suppress the people when the continuing rise in the cost of living ; ‘makes living impossible’. The price of petrol, if priced on world parity, would have to double. What happens to the cost of goods and services then ? The CPI has risen by 40% in the last two years. Will the people be able to feed their families with a similar rise in a matter of months ? I think Mahinda is going to need a bigger army !
