After the crashing of the Vesal Pandol at Pettah, assembled in front of the Gunasinghepura Bus Stand every year, it was re-assembled and ready for public view. Earlier the Vesak Pandol crashed before the Vesak poyaday due to strong winds. Pix by Nisal Baduge
