Sri Lanka's Ambassador to the Kingdom of Thailand and Permanent Representative to UNESCAP, C.A. Chaminda I. Colonne presented the Letter of Credence to the King of the Kingdom of Cambodia His Majesty Preah Bat Samdech Preah Boromneath Norodom Sihamoni on May 9 who granted Royal Audience to accredit her as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Sri Lanka to the Kingdom of Cambodia. 

Ambassador Colonne was accompanied by her spouse Stephen Senanayake for the ceremony at the Royal Palace in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. After warmly welcoming the Ambassador and her spouse, King Norodom Sihamoni extended sincere and best wishes to President Gotabaya Rajapaksa and recalled the long-standing friendly 
relations and cooperation with Sri Lanka for many centuries, based on Buddhist religious values.
