During the Sri Lankan civilisation in the South,it’s water irrigation technology was considered the most advanced in the world,better than Indian,Chinese,or Arab technologies,and the Europeans were nowhere near the Sri Lankans in any shape or form.

why do they involve army ? to save labor costs i guess. because if the local peasants are provided job opportunities the govt will have to pay them wages..militarisation in north is creeping to southern part as well.
