Import policy, or for that matter any policy shouldn’t be changed to individual personal needs, whether to aid MaRa/Gota/BR/RW or any other?! IT IS FOR 22 MILLION SRI LANKANS FOR COMMUNITY GOOD??!! That’s amounting to corruption, nepotism and/or klept•oc•racy (Society or System Ruled by people – in this case the protestors – who, use their power to steal their country's resources), which Aragalaya IS TRYING TO ERADICATE at Galle Face demonstrating since April 2022!!?? Alternatively, do these guys consider themselves, citizens of those countries they worked in??? Naturalised citizens of Emirates, Saudi, Qatar, Oman Bahrain et all? If so keep the goods there in those countries, rather than creating additional issues for Sri Lanka!! Do these guys think they are not Sri Lankan Citizens' to abide by laws of this country??! Or are they from a separate or Federated STATE OF SRI LANKA? Peaceful protest must be allowed. Sine quo non! Issues and criteria are relevant

Customs officials always demand bribe. They are getting salary, allowances, stealing, bribe and at the end pension after retirement.

Cutoms are always very hard on poor people, still containers are being cleared at the baggage center as personal goods.
