OK wait for your beloved NPP to come to power and then they will give you jobs , they will fire existing employees and hire you. You do not have to work because it will be your government. You only need to do NPP political activities. You wasted 4 years at the university by doing protests on roads on behalf of NPP so you need to rest during their government on a paid government holiday job.

Plenty of jobs available. But we won’t hire you guys! Can’t afford union action! We are not funded by taxpayers money.

Have you ever seen degree holders demanding jobs from the government in foreign countries? Grow up you stupid idiots.

Funny thing is that as long as they remained unemployed their unions thrive, so if all these get employed, the union will not have any member, so it is in the interest of the union that they remain unemployed. It is interesting to know what they learned at the university. If they can answer what they can contribute to the society then there is no reason why they should be unemployed until now.

Write to your MPs. Go to their official residence and respectfully say you need a job. Meanwhile try and do a labourers job. In European countries, doctors until they get a job work as taxi drivers.Immigrants in western world, work in restaurants and arrange dishes in dish washers, sweep floors and earn their livings. They don’t stand on the road and protest for lack of jobs.Just because you are from a Sri Lankan graduate you don’t get browny points. Don’t waste your time shouting and disturbing the public. You all have become a nuisance.

Get educated in English. Grammar, fluency and comprehension. Get a decent job and contribute to society.

Here we go again. Being educated free in the wrong subjects, now demand jobs. No other country in the world, do you see this. SL education system needs a huge revamp. Don't admit students to wrong courses. Teach all university degrees in English. Reduce students to Arts stream subjects. Most of these unemployed guys have studied Budhist philosophy, psychology, Sinhala or Pali, politics, or any dead languages. Who will give them a job? What about the next wave of students coming out this year?

Until elections are over there will be more promises coming from all parties. As usual these promises will be forgotten after the elections. the graduates will come to the streets demanding that the promises be kept. The promises will be met by water cannons and tear gas. That is the cycle folks

What have you guys studied? Was giving free education not enough? You need to be handed down a job too? Once you get a job, then you all start protesting about promotions, salary anomalies etc. Only in SL we see these comedies.
The photo of a person pushing a goods trolley in front of them is very fitting. That person at least is working without demanding anything from the government. How unfair things in SL!

Why should government find jobs? But then MPP and Ministers must learn not to make such promises.
One of government's responsibility is to create an economy for job creation of jobs. Accordingly school curriculum shall be to suit the economy. Current decision makers are not competent. Go back to old days and employ competent persons.

These fellows think they are "entitled" to jobs even after getting degrees in free education..

This is lunatic. How can a government absorb all the graduates to the government in any country in this world. Having a degree qualification is not a demand for a government job. It is a kind of education for you to find opportunities elsewhere.

This is what happens when you get free education.

Let's see after they come into power it won't be protest it will be bloodshed.
