You doubt your own sanity when you are repeatedly confronted with political chameleons like Dr. Senaratne! You feel like you are in a political madhouse, because you can no longer rationally explain this behavior to a normal-thinking citizen! Where do you see anything like uniqueness and character in such people, where do you see stability, predictability and honesty!!! As the saying goes: "Politics is a dirty business and corrupts people's character"!!! That is true of more or less every country, but in Sri Lanka at least they are at the top of it!!!

He aligns with the incumbent as a gratitude for making the country indebted to the IMF and other donors until 2048 thereby making every citizen of this country a debtor to the tune of Rs120,000/_ but boasting that he saved the country and the country would have been better country had he not signed the IMF deal and no prominence should be given to anybody crossing over to another candidate as it is the votes of the citizens that counts and not political vagabonds.
