These Colombo elites try to fool the public as they have been doing this for 75 years now. Why Ranil has been protecting all thieves if he is honest. He knows that corruption and fraud can not go hand in hand with development and progress. if politicians do this in Singapore they all will be end up in court. The truth is all executive presidents have been protecting all thieves. all incomes and revenues could be stolen by all those corrupted people. So, we need to have some solid understanding on this: will people trust because of some experience of Ranil this time. Will people have a honest leader without any experience.? Will IMF and others tolerate the presidency of any others? will Ranil concede any defeat? will we have an election at all. many questions come to mind

Ranil does not believe in the truth, see his statement that he has no (!) competition!!! All well-known presidential candidates want the country to develop further while adhering to the known financing conditions!!! The only difference is that there is at least one (!) candidate, Sarath Fonseka, who will also eliminate the disastrous internal conditions and obstacles that are blocking the country's development, such as corruption, the illegal enrichment of specific politicians, social and ethnic injustices, etc.!!! Ranil's policy is the exact opposite of that, he has protected the perpetrators and robber barons of all these atrocities and has done nothing against them!!! The only hope that remains is that the majority of voters will no longer allow themselves to be deceived by him and other political "charlatans"!!!
