Why are these opportunists using the term 'political prisoners'? If someone has done wrong he or she will have to face the consequences and maybe get imprisoned. That's all to it.

You are assuming they had a trial. There are many ex-LTTE cadres held without trial. You can't do that. For justice to be served you must convict in court or release.
