Look at the faces of these dark women, paying so much attention to what is being said by this white woman, the British Ambassador. The Sri Lankan Christians worship both the White God and the White Race, and no loyalty to Sri Lanka.

To be honest we would have been better off as a dominion under the British. Look where Canada, Australia and New Zealand, some West Indian Countries are compared to us. Thank you to our Desha premis!

To Anura: There are white racists, brown racists, yellow racists, black racists etc. for whom a person's colour is the most important thing instead of, as the late Rev Martin Luther King wished, the person's character. Colour is only skin deep, it is said. In Sri Lanka also one's language, religion, complexion ('kiri sudu' in marriage proposals), caste also can be the most important for some.

Many UK people are Catholic. And fortunately not so religious. That's why there country is progressive. I hope if King Charles comes here there will be a lot more people in the church than what is showing in the photos.
