SLAF undertakes paddy harvesting
Under the national policy framework of ‘Vistas of Prosperity and Splendour’ by President Gotabaya Rajapakse, the Sri Lanka Air Force has initiated a paddy harvesting project using newly acquired combine harvester machine. Accordingly, the SLAF undertake paddy harvesting targeting low income paddy farmers in Morawewa area in a bid to provide incentives to increase their earnings by cutting down harvesting cost.
