Seized cigarettes destroyed
A consignment of one million sticks of cigarettes which has been illegally imported from China was seized by Customs and was destroyed at Ceylon Tobacco Company today. The value of the consignment is said to be Rs 144 million. Superintendent of Customs D. K. S. Ravindra and Director Ceylon Tobaco Company Sudesh Peter were present. Pic by Nimalsiri Edirsinghe
