If Sachin is ambassador, there will be more aid donors and sponsors. Fund flow will increase to poor. That's the reason to bring in celebrities. If SL doesn't want celebrities, it can convey the same to UNICEF and ask for the funds that are meant to bring the celebrity. I know the answer though.

why don't you ask your parliamentarians to forego their salary and feed the poor in SL. Or stop the SL cricket matches and feed the poor UNICEF money does not belong to SL
