The final-year students of the Faculty of Visual Arts of the Visual and Performing Arts University staged a degree show today at the JD Art Gallery. The exhibition consists of painting, ceramics, printmaking, visual communication designs, sculpture, history and theory of art, multidisciplinary designs, textile and wearable arts, and multimedia arts. Senior lecturer, Dr. Priyantha Udagedra and the US Ambassador in Sri Lanka, Julie J. Chung participated in the exhibition. Pix by Nimalsiri Edirisinghe

The artwork on display at the exhibition was so unique and impressive that even Picasso would've been like, "Whoa, these young artists are onto something.

Very very creative. Certainly, it will attract tourists, if we can display all these in a Gallery. CONGRATULATIONS to all talents. In UK, there is a wax status museum by the name Madame Tussauds.
