The lorry driver should be persecuted for transporting cement bags without due care and safety to the public.

Need Safer Ways to Transport These Kinds of Hazardous Materials Tuesday, 03 December 2024 07:28 PM
Cement dust Is harmful! Hope the fire brigade was called in to wash it off. But that too will pollute the environment eventually, especially the neighbourhood water Supply. Suggest that these kinds of hazardous materials are trucked in enclosed containers to minimise or eliminate such accidents. Unless someone else can share another safe option c please.

Get A Road Sweeper Machine from CMC or RDA on hire to clear the place, by Vacuuming (suck away) the dry powder before it rains to clean the road. Or, ‘Wheeled Bucket Loader’ to take-away bulk of the cement Powder in truck!!?? Identify the truck, Insurance Company, of the Truck and charge it to them!!?? 3rd party insurance, which is mandatory, should cover such instances!!??
Next year, they (insurance company) may decide not to insure this party or charge them a higher premium for renewal!!?? Just solution!!?? Owner, if different to driver, may charge the driver additional cost of Premium!!??
Action IMMEADIATE before RAIN is IMPORTANT!!?? NOT borne by Local Council, RDA or Taxpayer!!??
