South Asia’s first triathlon launched
South Asia’s first ever Triathlon was launched at the Galle Face Green this morning with the participation of more than 800 local and foreign triathletes. The top six foreign participants for Ironman 70.3 Colombo are 133 triathletes from India, 76 from the UK, 47 from France, 34 from Australia, 30 from USA and 26 triathletes from Singapore. Three blind racers and a member of the Veddha community too took part in the event. Pics by Kushan Pathiraja.
