I agree with you John. President Anura sahodaralya started his simplicity with a charm oath ceremony limited to 15 minutes and save nearly 200 million rupees . Begining of a corrupt free, new era , brightinig the same sun with different light beams. Good luck mother Lanka

Yes, a new policy government after previous racist presidents. They frightened the masses at election rallies quoting Tamil militants. That time 6.9 were brain washed. As time passes, people become aware of the world situation. No race religion, culture, language can have an upper hand over another. The best scenario for Sri Lanka is to have a Republic of United Sri Lanka with two states.

You better frequently travel to some other part of the world and not here, with your idiotic rhetoric . The two state in Sri Lanka is a Myth and is for people with vested interest

Meanwhile at a certain independent Bronze Medal winner's residence...., plots are being laid to hobble the country and make sure things go wrong.
So much for "he loves the country, he stepped up, he had courage"....
He's just a nasty embittered old man

NEW Broom sweeps well. JVP created lots of problems during previous regime such as trade union actions, strike disrupting the economy. Don't think everything is going fall from the sky now.
