It's high time to get rid of Ranil. The little bit of grey matter he has upstairs must be telling him to get rid of the assets left. He knows his tims is up. Can anyone imagine being a lawyer for 50 yrs had appeared in courts for a single case. He was in the opposition as a deaf person and was there any point having him. Just a nikama enjoying perks of the job. Enough of his talk on environment when people in Sri Lanka are undergoing so much hardship. He is waiting for the push and lets get rid of him.

The present mood of the majority is to get out of the present dire economic situation. We can't afford to hang on to unproductive state institutions. It's those trade unions and profiteers such as the CEB engineers who want to hold on to the monopoly of power where they can hold the people to ransom to achieve their ends who don't want the state enterprises to be privatised or broadbased. To hell with them... This is the golden opportunity the whole country has got to have a true system change to end the government sector lethargy!

Tax payers have to keep paying for the losses made by state owned enterprises because of over staffing, corruption, inefficiency, political influence etc
There is no choice available but to sell 100 % of all all govt run businesses
