The Government has rescued the students, but what about the other Sri Lankan citizens stuck in India? Are only students lives prioritised and not ours? We have been reaching out to the government a zillion times and they have no proper response at all.

Good to read that Government has started to repatriate the stranded students .........But the highest segment of stranded Sri-Lanka are the migrant workers who have contributed immensely to the economy by their foreign exchange remittance...
There are many Sri Lankan airlines charter flight commencing today 22 April to Jeddah with Cargo to Saudi but returning Jeddah - Colombo Empty ....
Since there is no additional charter cost why didn't our foreign mission in Saudi Arabia make use of this opportunity repatriate the 1000 over Sri Lankan's ???
