Senior BJP leader Dr Subramanian Swamy graced the inauguration ceremony of the 15th International Research Conference (IRC) which is organized by the General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University (KDU). Defence Secretary Kamal Gunaratne, members of the Diplomatic Corps, Chief of Defence Staff, Army and Navy Commanders, Vice Chancellors of other Universities, Chief of Staff of the Air Force, eminent speakers from foreign nations, former Commandants of KDA, former Chancellors and VCs of KDU, Rector of the Metropolitan Campus, Rector of the Southern Campus, Deputy VCs, all Deans and Directors, Senior Military and Police officers were also present at the occasion.

During Aragalaya other Indian politician kept quiet watching activity, but he was madly favouring the fraudsters/swindlers/Rajapaksas. I wonder what is he up to now? Even the current Ranil-Gunawadana UNP-SLPP government better keep an eye on who he meets with.

Not sure why this man is welcome here. His comments lately, have been very negative about SL and called the aragalaya "the mob". He even went on to suggest that the Indian forces should intervene to help the Rajapakse regime. He justified Rajapakse ruling because they were democratically elected, and they were legitimate rulers - no talk about corruption at all and how they ran the country to the ground with their lopsided policies/decisions. No wonder it is the pohottuwa supporters seen with him.

Subramaniam Swami is not a BJP leader hw was even removed from the BJP Central Committee. Only Rajaoajsas keep him on the head, Tamil Nadu no one cares for him, even Midi hates him.

I had the honor of participating in this event online, and happy to say that the speech of the Guest Speaker Prof Subramanian Swamy was an excellent one. What I was impressed with his speech was his pragmatic thinking, analysis of global scenarios quite different to what we see in media and mightiness of the words he uttered. It was current, relevant to our present scenario and inspirational. Wish to mention that we lack such caliber leaders in our country, should look forward to learn a lot from such eminent personalities who are not far away from us. Good speech for our business, political , religious and professional leaders to listen to and make them realize what nonsense they speak in public forums and in media.
