Lowest salary of SL...Janitor of a pvt Co draws a salary more than them..High time to take some action by Govt and recognize this noble service and give them a decent salary for their living and to maintain dignity of the profession

It's a shame that our teachers are some of the lowest paid in SL. An Australian Primary School teacher earns about AUD 78,000 per year before tax. That's about Rs. 10 Million. Such is the world we live in.
