Sri Lanka's Tharushi Dissanayake won gold in the Women's 800m at the Asian Games in Hangzhou, China, clocking a time of 2 minutes 03.20 seconds, beating out defending champion Chunyu Wang.
The games, which were scheduled to be held last year, was postponed to this year, amidst the widespread rise in Covid-19 cases in China, though remaining as the 2022 Asian Games.
