All Sri Lankan Politicians and Government Officials Responsible For Inviting The Indians To Take “ Control” of Sri Lankan Railways ,soon after the end of the war, must be prosecuted .

In the Mannar line in the North, a newly built railway bridge by the “Indian Engineers “ simply collapsed. It was a miracle that no train was travelling over the bridge at that time. The government has a duty to protect the train passengers, as such the government has to bring in railway experts from Canada, America, or Britain to examine all the work done by the Indian “ experts” so far in the Northern lines . And as a major safety reason we must terminate all Indian involvement in Sri Lankan railways immediately and permanently.

Just they one accident don't condemn. How may trains are running in India per day - thousands daily. You are criticing because there was one incident.

I agree with you about external advice, but rather than Canada , America who have very old train networks, we must go to Japan amd China who have the most advanced technology. As you know, the western pundits will eat all our money and give us only outdated stuff. They even don't have good train system in their countries.

Is this modern India's emergency response and risk management expertise ?

Mistakes or negligence by 1 or 2 individuals result in massive casualties. I read Gulf News and they had explained complete sequence of events leading to the accident. Here you do not get any meaningful information.

Rajaratnam. Probably the Indian engineers had to cut corners to give the corrupt Sri Lankan politician his bribe first even before work commenced on the bridge.

Train accidents do happen but accidents involving three trains in modern times is unheard of. This clearly shows the poor quality of Indian technology, it is the same technology the Indians have installed in the Sri Lankan Northern line. Who allowed the Indians into Sri Lankan Railways ?

@ Jaffna Tamil, handing over the Northern Line to the Indians was a deliberate act by the anti Tamil racist politicians of the South.
