This entire excercise can be exemplified by the man in the 2nd picture holding the placard upside down. These people don't know or understand what they're being used for by anti-government elements. They just come to picket and do whatever they're asked to do.

Suggest how to stop brain, drain. Whoever obtained free education, in universities, medical colleges or other government institutions should be compelled to payback the monies spent on them by taxpayers' money ,new entrants should sign an agreement to the effect that they would serve the country for 15 years.

IF economic prosperity improves, THEN people will remain in the country. SLPP was elected by you all and they destroyed the country by robbing and foolish decision. The economy cannot be turnaround over night. Still Corruption is widespread. Politicians are still playing with public money.

Before they go overseas they need to learn to pay their fair share of taxes. Go overseas and pay close to 50% of the salary as taxes. Wonder what tax bracket they are experiencing currently? Is a fair tax for these guys what GR put in.place and destroyed the country where hardly anyone paid taxes but still expected and demanded that the government serves them!

There are lot of students missed the opportunity to carry on their studies, pls give them a chance you guys wants to do politics join the party, I can't get the logic of it asking the tax revision to UGC,they don't even pay tax yet while wasting tax payers money and wasting police resources, sack them all let them do farming, these are our future educated experts the country needed.

SL has one of the worse university systems. Its funded by poor taxpayers. SL is too poor to provide free university education. Rich western countries charge local students.
