May they both be blessed. It's not an example of hospitality to promote tourism but certainly one of compassion. It is also very telling of the lack of infrastructure and facilities for seniors and people with disabilities of Sri.Lanka which is never addressed in development plans.

A silent prayer for her to continue such a good deed so that others too will have that humane feeling for less unfortunates.

This is a normal thing to do. In Europe no one will let elderly people stand in long queues (and even llet them die)like you did some years ago.

Your act of shielding the disabled elder from the heavy rain truly reflects the warmth and hospitality of Sri Lankan culture. Her gesture has touched my heart deeply, and I am grateful for her selflessness. This young Sri Lankan girl actions remind us all of the importance of kindness and empathy towards others. Thank you for being a shining example of goodness in the world."

Unfortunately, what most people do doesn't have proof or cameramen on site.
