Turmeric worth Rs 19 mn seized

The Customs Department today seized dried turmeric weighing 25,450 and worth Rs 19 million smuggled into the country from Dubai. They had been concealed among fresh onions in four containers. Pix by Nimalsiri Edirisinghe
