Two kinds of protest outside CEB
A group of people staged a protest outside the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) Head Office in Colombo against attempts to curtail renewable power production, while another group staged a protest backing Power and Energy Minister Ravi Karunanayake.
Placards of one group said ‘solar power production should not be curtailed’ while the other group’s placards read ‘Let’s protect Power and Energy Minister who didn’t increase electricity tariffs.’ Pix by Waruna Wanniarachchi
