Does UNP MPs understand the seriousness of the situation? I see some of them taking Pictures and similing. Are they fooling around or lost hope ?

Well said, the theory is whoever comes to power, they all make money and we loose. So they have all the reasons to celebrate, and fool us...

Very true. These people are not aware the seriousness. Instead if they are truly concerned about the country they should be sitting with all relevant politicians and discussing than showing how many supporters they have.

Very unusual to have such support for a recent govt who are always going to be unpopular. This is truly become a rally cry for democracy. People understand the risk to the nation. Great to see there is still hope for the country. Sillysena and The fat bastard must be shitting in their amudey now. Piss off now and open the Parliament for a vote, whom ever wins can hold power as WE PAY FOR YOU. WE ARE YOUR MASTERS not the other way around!

The reason for such a massive crowd gathered.common man understand that Sirisena's that of ungrateful and against human values - forget about politics- in that way as a human being Ranil is still the best , yes, he has some problem of efficiency.

Maithiri Srisena is a great man. He simply kicked out the party who brought him to power. He came to power with false promise to the nation that he will take stern action against people who was involved in corruption during Rajapakses time. But the same person has been appointed by MS to take over the country. What a joke????

If anyone was actually at the rally, instead of at their desk wasting company internet and giving stupid comments. People from all over was there. Poorest to the richest. And mind you no supply of gal and rice packets with RW picture on it. They pooled whatever they could and went through the day.the busses were upto vivekananda road on marine drive wella. Plugwansa must be now counting the crowd. Good count till two parliaments come and go.

'Building' of UNP does not have anymore the people's faith as their foundation. So apart from these colour washing events it is bound to collapse, which has happened.

Voted Yahapalanaya to arrest and take action on currupted thieves. But Sirisena protected them from Day 1 and after 3 years made them Prime Minister and Ministers, unconstitutionally.
