Employees of the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) staged a protest this morning over several demands, including a salary hike. About 3,000 employees affiliated to several airport trade unions participated in the protest demanding a minimum salary increase of Rs. 33,000 for all airport employee pay scales. Pix by T.K.G.
