A video evidence recording unit to record evidence of child abuse victims was set up at the Child Development Center in Ragama under the patronage of the Rotary Club of Colombo Metropolitan and the United Nations Development Programme. Minister of Public Security Sarath Weerasekara graced the occasion as the chief guest while Senior DIG Ajith Rohana, Rotary Club of Colombo Head Dilini Hennayake, Chairman of National Child Protection Authority Prof. Muditha Vidanapathirana and several senior Police officers participated in the event.
