In politics there are no friends nor enemies. They tear each other apart inside Parliament but kiss and hug outside it and the gullible voter slurps it all. What a world!!!

Whatever said and done. He did destroy Sri Lanka with his socialistic policies. If not for him we would have been like Singapore today. The true Brain Drain & marginalization began with him; with his short sighted, selfish policies which eventually killed him. If not for him, at the rate we were progressing since independence we would have been the wonder of Asia today and we would never had a 30 year racist war. No one wants to admit it for fear of upsetting people.
