Over here in the United States, you always see pictures of gun toting people proudly displaying their hunted dear carcasses. In Sri Lanka, our kids are taught from childhood to be kind to defenseless animals and this is a great example. This is the stark difference between Lord Buddha's teachings and other religions....

We want to know how long wild life officers took to come to the site to take this deer to a safe place or animal hospital. We ask daily mirror to follow up the story and report to us that animal is safe.
We must show this act of courage of this child to other children in a Rupavahini children programme. These are inspirational stuff for any youngster.
