How can there be a "Rajadhani Road" in a Republic? Or is it because we are virtual 'Rajadhani'?

Common voter thinks that MR, JR and Premadasa spent their money to construct Highways, Mahaweli and Gam-uda. and worshiped them when they saw them. But this is at least better than not building anything at all. There was a time during Chandrika's period when we were offered many loans and grants but we could not utilize them for any project other than the building of the Baseline Road.

Rather than talking rubbish, and wasting writing comments that speaks who the writers are (people measure others by their own standards), can somebody tell the readers - physically where this road is? i.e., connecting what towns. However, there should have been signs and boards in Tamil too.

Building roads, providing health care and education to the masses is a responsibility of any government. It is only in Sri Lanka that they build something and put up huge posters with smiling faces of politicians. Not any other country in the world you can see this. It is like that they have spent their own money. This is disgraceful.
