With elections fever hotting up and speculations rife as to who would be in the fray for the upcoming polls to the Western and Southern Provincial Councils, these female hopefuls yesterday faced the UPFA nominations board for interviews at the SLFP Headquarters in Colombo.

I simply don't understand how people select their leaders! SL should be featured on Guinness Book Records for having least educated, and least qualified politicians ruling the country, in fact helping themselves through so called popularity votes! I mean look at these actresses & actors, the country is not a teledrama set! I never understood how people think in SL!
