These monks are not willing to give any thing that their ancestors ( Tamil Hindus) needs. They dont want part with any thing.
What they are willing to give ... finally nothing.
They only Racialism and Communal-ism .Isnt it ?

Monks need to be in the monasteries and promote peace, preach dharma! They should not be manipulated by evil politicians. If only the Sinhalese had been real Buddhists and learnt to live in peace with the minorities, Sri Lanka( CEYLON) would have the prosperous country in the Indian ocean.
Did democracy do the damage! Promising Sinhala only to get power by SWRD.B and a separate kingdom by the Federal party--- has left SL in a terrible/critical state

No wonder the Damma is under threat- no one to teach it as the teachers of the Damma are doing politics and making money which is totally against the teaching of the Buddha!
