It is not surprising to see a minister taking his bike to work. The ministers of the central government of Sweden, Finland and Norway come, in the summer time, riding their bikes to their work. But of course it is a big event that even comes in the newspapers.

What about Finance circular PED 1/2015 about providing around Rs.50,000/= (30,000/= Fuel) for transport facilities for officers in commercial corporation, Statutory Boards and State owned copanies. Will it save the energy and environment ?
